These terms are an agreement between you and ImranQureshi.com (Imran Qureshi), India (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you use the app on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

1. Using the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You must not copy, change, resell or redistribute the app or its stories, try to extract its source code or content, make derivative versions, or use our name and trademarks. The app and all its content, design, trademarks, copyright and database rights belong to us or our licensors.

2. About the stories

The stories are retold for general reading and reflection. We work hard to keep them faithful to their sources, but they are not a religious ruling (fatwa) and do not replace the Quran, authentic hadith collections or a qualified scholar. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will check it.

3. Pro and payments

  • The app is free with ads on Android, iPhone and iPad (the Mac app has no ads). Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks all stories and removes ads. It is not a subscription. The Mac app’s Pro is a separate purchase: Pro bought on an iPhone or iPad does not unlock the Mac app, and the other way round. “Lifetime” means for as long as we offer the app and it works on your device. The price is shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
  • Payment is taken by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iPhone, iPad and Mac) when you confirm the purchase.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies. If a purchase is refunded, Pro is removed from the app. If you have a problem with a purchase, please also contact us.
  • If you change devices, tap Restore Purchases on the Pro screen (or Restore Purchase in Settings) while signed in to the same Google or Apple account.
  • Rewarded ads (Android, iPhone and iPad): you may choose to watch a video ad to unlock a story. This is not a purchase, and we may change or end it at any time.

4. Ads

On Android, iPhone and iPad, the free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. We do not control the content of every ad and do not endorse the products advertised. If you see an ad you think is inappropriate, please tell us.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the app in a way that breaks the law, harms other people, or tries to get around Pro, ads or security.

6. Internet and device

You can read the stories without an internet connection. Ads, purchases and some app settings need one. Your mobile operator may charge you for data, including roaming abroad. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume you have the bill payer’s permission. We recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your device: it can make your device less secure and the app may not work properly.

7. Changes and updates

We may update the app, add or remove stories and features, or change these terms. The app may need a newer version of Android, iOS or macOS over time, and you may need to install updates to keep using it. We may stop offering the app. We will change the “Last updated” date when these terms change. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

8. Third-party services

The app uses services from other companies, such as Google and Apple, which have their own terms: Google Terms · AdMob · Firebase · Apple Media Services.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we give no warranty that it will always be accurate, available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have by law as a consumer and that cannot be excluded.

10. Ending these terms

You may stop using the app at any time and delete it. If you break these terms, we may end your right to use the app. When the terms end, you must stop using the app and delete it. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example sections 2, 9 and 11) continue to apply.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem.
